I checked this place out on a recommendation from a neighbor. I have to say, I was very happy with everything--price, service, facility and workmanship. They know what they are doing and they charge a fair price.

So fast and efficient! They figured out what was wrong with our car and had it fixed in a day and a half. Can't beat that when you need to have your vehicle fixed right away. The service was excellent. They called and gave us a breakdown and update. I didn't get other quotes so I can't compare the prices but we are super excited about the quality of customer service we received and will be taking our cars here.

I'm extremely impressed with this shop. I have never had such good,timely and honest repair until I came here! I will never go to anywhere else. They kept me up to date. Had my car up and running in 24 hours and explained what they found and the options and said if this doesn't work then we will need to fix this but only if necessary. My car would not turn on , had it towed and they fixed it very quickly and I expected it to cost twice as much. I highly recommend Litchfield auto repair!!!!

We have had our vehicle in here on two occasions. They have done a wonderful job. Finally a mechanic we feel is honest and reliable. Prices aren't bad.

Phill and the team here are great! They tell you what they are doing at every point. They know cars and fix them correctly. I have taken a vehicle in as old as an 89 and a new one too. They understand cars!

I was a bit skeptical of so many 5 star reviews, but they're correct. I brought my truck in due to a differential leak, which 2 other shops didn't want to touch. They looked it over twice, at my request. They mentioned several things to keep an eye on, but didn't need immediate attention so I was aware of upcoming maintenance. Also, I greatly appreciate them finding the root cause of my issue, which stemmed from a bad lift install by the previous owner causing the differential to be in direct contact with the vehicle, and not seating correctly. They said they wouldn't feel right or recommend fixing the leak since it wouldn't seat properly due to the underlying issue even after replacing the seals. They didn't want to see me back in a few months with the same leak. They topped off fluids and gave a solid recommendation to fix my root cause at no charge. They've earned a new customer and I'll now be bringing them my vehicles moving forward. Thanks for the outstanding and honest work. It's so rare these days!

Litchfield Auto Repair is the only place I'll take my cars for work. They are extremely honest and fair. My car needed an oil change and a repair to the lower front trim that had been pulled off by a curb (very poor design, but that's a whole different story). When I made the appointment I told them what parts the dealer said needed to be replaced (the dealer told me that the entire lower trim needed to be replaced). I asked if they could order the parts to make sure they could finish the job in one day. They told me that they would prefer to wait to see the car so they could determine what really needed to be done. When they called to tell me what needed to be done and quoted the cost I was very pleased. They told me that only one portion of the trim needed to be replaced and the price they quoted was less than 1/3 of the price that the dealer quoted. My car was ready the same day. This was the second car I've taken there for repairs, and both times I came away knowing that I was treated fairly. I will no longer consider going anywhere else.

I know we all wish to find a mechanic that is truthful, well I did. Even though the repair I needed was costly, I was given a very honest price. I did my due diligence since I was not familiar with Litchfield Auto Repair, and not only found the price of the part was dead on, they did not charge me some ridiculous labor price. They will have all my future service and I will recommend all friends and family to them. Their perfect yelp reviews are accurate.
