Auto Repair in Goodyear, AZ

Absolutely impressed!!!! In the last 8 months, I have now taken my Lincoln MKS to Litchfield Auto Repair to have a waterpump replaced; my 1966 mustang GT in for a tune up, and my Suburban in for a rear main seal leak repair. All 3 services were fairly priced but the most impressive elements in my experience was the honesty, the recommended suggestions for preventive care for the future, and the personalized detail given to all three vehicles. Mark, did a great job communicating with me during each repair and explaining what the repair of each area would mean to my hehicles performance. This is a differentiator from most auto shops. I’ve never had anyone take the time to explain to me the performance factors in repair. I have a fourth vehicle, a Mercedes CL55 AMG that has come upon its scheduled B plan service. I will be taking that vehicle in to Litchfield Auto Repair within the next 30 days. The prices at the Mercedes Service Department is over $700. I’m sure the cost will be fair less at Litchfield Auto Repair and I’m confident the quality of the work will be equal to that of the Mercedes Service Department since Litchfield Auto Repair has Mercedes certified mechanics. I’ll be sure to post a review after the service. Quality, price, honesty, and communication are still alive at Litchfield auto repair.

Took my crazy truck in to get some estimates for gasket replacement and a couple other issues. Everyone was nice and professional. The honest recommendations I got back after they looked at everything was absolutely priceless and there was no charge. I would recommend these folks to anyone especially those who know nothing about cars because they are straight talkers. Thank you.

I am normally a "do it yourself" guy. But when I don't want to, or need something that may be out of my capabilities, this is the place. Litchfield Auto Repair is a rare business that is honest & trustworthy. I had an air conditioning issue with my Honda and they repaired it fast and at a great price. They communicated the findings, the repair work required, and then the timeline for the car to be ready. The car works great and I appreciated all they did. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this business.

I had work done in April of 2017 that included the engine coolant, water pump, and timing belt. My Engine started to heat up while the A/C was on and once it was turned off the engine temp would go back to normal. I decided to have it looked at and after about an hour of waiting I was told that I would need a new engine block because there was coolant leaking. The mechanic based this ASSUMPTION on a "defect with Honda engines". This sounded like BS because if there is any factory defect the owner is notified. I also looked up this specific defect at it applies to 2006-2009 Honda civics and my Honda is a 2004. These mechanics were unwilling to look at the work and problems that were happening and chalked it up to a manufacturers problem, which is incorrect. If you get work done here, don't expect them to investigate future problems. You also might as well go to a dealership mechanic than these guys because their labor costs are so outrageous. Come here if you like having your time wasted. Be careful about sharing your experience on yelp you may get a random call and have the owner yell at you, and then write a (super detailed non waste of time) response. Btw way my car is working great after getting a second opinion and it didn't cost $1800

Had my vehicles in and family. They get all my overflow work when I'm too tired or lazy. I find them to be on par with top dealerships, without trying to up-sell you. They are very busy for a reason; because a quality honest outfit is hard to find these days.

Litchfield Auto Repair is the best by far!! A few years ago, my car went on the fritz and the Gas Cap access wouldn't unlock. I took it to Litchfield Auto and not only did they get it unlocked, they diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote and gave me advice on getting the work done there or at home with my own mechanic. My father passed away a few years back, and now my 79 year old mother is left handling the household on her own, including two used cars. These guys have been Godsends in helping her out and giving great advice. She just took her 1994 Jaguar in after it hadn't passed emissions and they took a look. They notified her they couldn't find anything wrong, they advised her to fill the tank with premium gas and drive it for an extended time. They didn't take a dime. She followed their advice(which is not the norm for her) and she just called elated that she passed. Thanks a lot Phil for taking care of my mom and taking that worry out of her life.
