The customer service at Litchfield Auto is the best, and there is truth in their adds they are honest with pricing and their work is excellent. They have worked on my two cars a 74 Chevy Nova, 03 GMC Seirra and my daughters Buick LaCross fixing the problems right the first time. I will continue to call them on any future issues with my viehicles and recommend them to anyone that needs service in their viehicle. Thanks Litchfield Auto excellent service.

I had a transmission issue and had to pay to get an estimate. They said the transmission needed replaced or rebuilt. They were the only ones who knew Nissan had some extended warranties for the transmission and recommended that I check with them. He was right, but Nissan only extended it to 85,000 miles and my car had 104,000 miles on it. I had another estimate and they offered to replace the "Valve Body" and if it didn't work then go for the rebuilt or new transmission. The "Valve Body" is working and it was $2000 cheaper than a rebuilt. Litchfield Auto Repair didn't offer this option. If you have a Nissan, get rid of it before the warranty expires and check to see if your vehicle has an extended warranty for it's transmission!

My go to auto shop. Professional. They get straight to the point, and whatever they charge you is what you get. I've had my truck worked on here cause I don't like how other places charge. And i haven't had any issues after maintenance so that's a plus in my eyes.

Best mechanic out there. Brought my truck in with a huge oil leak. The truck was making sounds on acceleration and just lacking performance. They advised me of everything that was wrong with it and got it fixed quickly. This is by far the most professional auto repair shop I’ve been to. I’ve been there over a handful of times and they’ve always been there for me. Thank you Phil for always taking care of your customers. We need more people like you in business. -Pete

I was driving through Phoenix when my car started making an awful noise. I was lucky to find this place as they worked with me to get my car in, looked at, and fixed the same day (even though I didn't have an appointment and it was a busy Monday). One new wheel bearing later and I was on my way! Also, the man I picked my car up from (didn't catch his name) was very helpful as I had follow-up questions regarding the other wheel bearings - he took the time to explain his thoughts regarding my concerns and I appreciated his input. They had a good set-up for Covid with an outdoor check-in and the employees wearing masks.

We had been using Litchfield Auto Repair as our trusted mechanic since 2014. But all that stopped during 2018. I know this review is way over due, but our experience was far from an honest & fair one. We had 2 separate vehicles with separate issues, that we took into LAR at separate occasions. The first one had a blown engine. We weren't sure what the problem was at first since we had given this vehicle to my mother in law and it had broke down on her. LAR took a look at it and said in order to find out if the engine is blown they'd need to replace the head gaskets which was going to cost 4 figures $$$$! Basically we would have had to stay committed to fixing it if we went that route. We declined since it was too much of a gamble. We took it to another place and right off the bat they were able to tell us the engine was blown. They didn't need to replace no stinking head gaskets to know that information! I was upset to know the people we had entrusted with all our vehicles would do us like that. To me that's taking advantage. The second vehicle was the last straw. We had bought it used and taken it to be fixed and maintained for the duration of a couple of years. Finally we got tired of the same issues popping up and not getting fixed. The hoses were brand new, that they had replaced months prior. Yet when we took it over to them because of a overheating problem, they said we need to replace the hoses and clamps?! We decided park the vehicle and not throw anymore money into it. My uncle took a look at it one day and replaced the coolant and lo and behold it was fine. It was not overheating anymore. He said the hoses and clamps didn't need to be replaced?! He said there must had been a bubble in the coolant and it just needed to be drained and refilled. That was it for us, we were tired of trusting them to take our money and not fix the real problems. This review has been in my drafts and I decided to finally get it out there because this was my experience and I don't like being ripped off.

I realky like their service. You won't be disappointed. U have never felt like I was getting robbed like other mechanic shops make you feel. Litchfield has a client in me!
