They declined to use customer supplied parts which would have saved me hundred$ of dollar$. They wanted to "jack up" the repair cost by supplying unnecessary parts they would source. ---I declined their offer.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. This is a very good topic for discussion. It's actually not about wanting to "Jack up the price". It's about wanting to offer a service. Full service, with a warranty. Example: we could put on your supplied part, it could be defective right out of the box (happens all the time) and you have a repair bill for labor and it didn't even fix your car. The worst part is now you would be charged again to replace that part with another that may or may not have a warranty wherever you purchased it from. Then there is the question, did our Master Certified Technician with 30 years experience not install the part correctly ? It could happen ? Or that part could be defective. Now we didn't save you any money, we didn't fix your car, and your questioning our abilities. For all these reasons why would we want to allow the reputation of our services and the unnecessary cost to you for the possibility you may save a few dollars. Better yet, lets say everything went perfect, and we saved you a few dollars. What happens in 2 weeks when the part fails ? Same thing. Were not going to get rich off of selling you a part. Were not "jacking up the cost" were simply providing the best solution for the customer to offer a "Full Service Repair" with a warranty. If you would like please call me to discuss further. I would love the opportunity not only to gain your business, but to offer you the great service were known for. Please call Phil at 623.882.8700. Thank you and have a great day.
