Very overpriced, will be taking my business elsewhere. Had to edit my review... I know your business is about making a profit. So it's not honest when you say you are willing to do a repair at cost. I know for a fact that I can pick up a brand new front differential for $800. You're telling me that labor would cost $5,200. That is not genuine nor customer aligned. I didn't mean to upset the owner of a company, but I got to do whats right for me and paying 12 grand is not right for me when i can have another shop do for a fraction of the price.
Paul, thank you for taking the time to leave us this review. I would like to mention to the viewing audience that you paid $59 for us to look at your vehicle. We looked at multiple concerns, from noises, to leaks, warning lights etc. We carefully looked at these concerns and provided a detailed estimate to make repairs. Yes, your estimate was expensive. Your 07 Tundra with over 200K miles needed a lot of work. We had spent the time to put together a game plan, and explain all the variables to give you the most informed decision possible. In this case the starting estimate was over $12K. We still had to do some testing to determine the total repairs needed. I would say it would be more fair to say that Litchfield Auto Repair is not "overpriced", but the repairs are an abundance. We work very hard to seek out the best part, at the best price for our customers. Most people don't know but we are around 18% lower just on our labor than most of our competitors. We can do this because I'm the owner. Most shops are now owned by investment firms that have multiple levels of management and investors to satisfy. Our goal is to satisfy our customers. If you would like to see what else we can do for your vehicle, I would personally look forward to trying to accommodate those needs. Even if we performed these repairs at cost, not to make 1 cent... I bet $10,000.00 would still seem overpriced. Lets see what we can do. Please call me directly at (623) 882 - 8700 to discus. My name is Phil, or you can ask for me at the counter. Thank you.
